Cloggs Goes Boo
Mirfield's favourite coffee shop Clogg's rebrands
as Cafe Boo under new management this month. The popular coffee shop on
Huddersfield Road changed hands on 1st May but continues to offer a wide range
of speciality coffees, continental snacks and sandwiches.
Situated in the very centre of Mirfield, opposite
the Co-op supermarket, Cafe Boo offers a warm welcome to weary shoppers and
travellers to Mirfield. Customers can enjoy a rich cappucino or creamy latte
whilst waiting for a bus, or simply take the weight off their feet as respite
from shopping.
Already reknowned for their coffees and paninis,
new proprietor Anne Holdsworth and her dynamic young team have ambitious plans
for the future.
"We are currently applying for a drinks licence and
plan to offer regular tapas nights and entertainments to the people of Mirfield,
bringing a touch of Mediterranean class in a relaxed and informal atmosphere",
said Anne.
"Ultimately we are looking to offer something a bit
different. Not everyone wants to spend their nights in a pub - we would like to
offer the opportunity to sample fine wines and cuisine, and enjoy a relaxed
candle lit ambience in our upstairs lounge."
And in keeping with the times Cafe Boo even has
its own website www.cafeboo.co.uk where
customers can browse the menu online, and see the latest Cafe Boo news and
forthcoming events and attractions.
